What is On-Grid Solar?
An on-grid (also called grid-tied) solar system is a solar power solution that connects your rooftop or ground-mounted solar panels directly to the local electricity grid. During sunny hours, the system generates power from sunlight. That electricity is used by your home or business — and if there’s any surplus, it gets fed back into the grid via a bi-directional meter. Whenever solar production is insufficient (like at night or on cloudy days), electricity seamlessly flows back from the grid, ensuring uninterrupted supply.
